I have always been very artistic and loved to paint realism with very fine detailing. I also studied art at college and it has always been a passion of mine.
I stumbled across the art of reborning whilst browsing eBay and was amazed by what I saw. The detail and realism in these dolls was so outstanding I just had to have a go myself, then I was hooked.
My first few dolls I have to admit went into the bin, as I am so fussy but after practicing and learning so much from different forums and Guilds, I am very pleased with the work I now create.
Turning a plain doll into a collectors item to treasure and keep for many years and pass down the family. Watching each little stage of the reborn, developing into what looks like a real baby in front of my eyes, is ideal for a perfectionist like myself and is a great avenue for painting realism to it's maximum.

Custom Reborns

If you would like to commission me to make a custom reborn please email for more info on sculpts available. Whether you want a doll made to your requirements with a particular hair colour, a certain sculpt, boy or a girl, toddler or baby or to look like your own little angel from a photo feel free to enquire. What a great idea to have a reborn made to match a photo of your precious little baby to keep and remember their baby stage forever. Or maybe you would like to have a reborn made for a loved one for some cuddle therapy for an elderly relative living on their own. Reborns are great to collect and many are limited editions and will never be recreated again!!

What is reborning?

Reborning is the art of taking a plain vinyl play doll or doll kit and turning it into an artist one of a kind reborn doll that looks and feels just like a real baby.
To treasure as a collectors item for years to come.
The reborning process is an expensive and time consuming one
and involves many steps to reach the final stages.
Methods such as stripping factory paint, hand rooting hair a few hairs at a time and painting to add realistic skin tones and even texture. Rooting the head can take many hours as can the painting in many thin layers and heat setting each layer to make the paint long lasting and look just like a real babies skin.
